Mom just got laid off two months ago, so we're struggling really hard here because she can't find a job and neither can I. I hatehateHAAATE the pity-party thing most people do on the Internet, most of my close friends know this, but I am spilling it all now in hopes that it will spur on more commissions. Prices:

1 to 2 character sketch on 9x12 paper: $7
1 to 2 characters shaded or colored on 9x12 paper: $14
1 to 2 characters colored digitally: $14
1 to 2 characters watercolor painting: $21

If you want more characters or have something specific in mind, message me and we will work it out. These are just basic guidelines so you can get an idea of my prices. ;D I also have larger paper for drawings and paintings, so just ask for what you want, like I said we'll work it out.

All pieces will be mailed to the recipient, and if it's a digital coloring the original sketch will be mailed as the digital goods are delivered. Also, I would like to place my commission work in my DA gallery, so if it's a gift and you need me to wait on posting it or whatevs that's cool, just let me know.

Payment will be done via PayPal, if you can't message me and we MIGHT work something out, I don't want anything bad to happen so that's why I lean toward PayPal.

Every goddamn time I log in now there's porn on the front page. No, I don't mean nude photography, or nude images in general, but actual PORNOGRAPHY. I have nothing against porn, I like porn, it has its place, but damnit that place is not on DA. I don't know what's changed, but DA's policy toward pornography seems to be non-existent nowadays. What the fuck, isn't this site for the sharing and promotion of ART? Porn sits are a dime a dozen, go post your shit on there and get it out of my face when I don't want to see it.

PS, please do not tell me how to use the "mature content" filter, I know how to use it and I keep it turned off because I watch a lot of artists whose content falls in there but is a far cry from porn.

Yep, I'm broke, and I need monies (dude, 'scripts that aren't covered by insurance are freaking COSTLY! @_@ ). SO I'm open for commissions.

Basically what you'll get is a character or two of your choice drawn by hand, inked, and colored with colored pencil or shading pencil (your choice) on a sheet of 9 x 12 in. drawing paper for a measly $10.00 (the finished product will be mailed to you). The background will be sorta... just there. "Inertia" is a good example of the kind of background I'll do; I'm not good with a bunch of details in the background so there won't be a huge forest scene or whateva, but I can do something really really simple if you want. We'll just have to talk it out if you're interested.

As far as the characters go, I prefer to have a reference. If I don't, and I'm just going on description, well... I'd rather not do that. Not because I can't do it, I could, I'd just have to take some liberties with it and I don't want to do that when someone is PAYING for this. Unfortunately I don't have the time to sketch, scan, email and wait to see if I'm on the right track while I'm working on each piece, so you'll just give me the go ahead information and the next thing you'll get from me is the finished piece. Thus I hesitate from doing original characters from description only.

I CAN do digital work, as is evidenced by my gallery, but I do not have a nice printer from which to print a good print to mail to you, so if I do it digitally I can't provide a nice hard copy worth the money. I will, however, give you any and all files--in case you want to use the image as an avatar/sig/profile picture/etc.

Also, I am willing to do watercolor paintings following the aforementioned commission guidelines for $20.00. The increased price is due to the longer time it takes to paint a watercolor vs. coloring with pencil, and the higher cost of the "equipment"--paper is more expensive as are the paints.

There are, obviously, more details to work out but if you are interested, please note me here on DA. Lastly, as far as payment goes, we can work something out through PayPal (I have an account, it's very safe) or I can work with you one-on-one about what to do.

Finally, as one last note, I want to be able to post my commission work in my DA gallery to share with everyone. : ] If for some reason you don't want the work displayed, or don't want it displayed until someone else sees it first (a gift or something, I don't know), let me know and we can work something out.
